Take Time to Feel can open us to experience the power of communion, a quality of deep connectedness and oneness.
Communion occurs when we drop our belief of being separated, give up our careful control, and instead meet as equals … as humans. A communal field can emerge that embraces more than our individual experiences.
We realize that we are not alone. We are always connected to ourselves, the world around us, nature, and through space and time–even when we feel alone. We experience ourselves as whole and as part of the whole.
It requires courage and humility to be vulnerable in front of ourselves and one another and to present ourselves as we are. If we have the courage to receive ourselves and another, we can experience a deep sense of trust, rest, and grace. The effort to improve ourselves falls apart. We open ourselves to having our deepest longing met.
